NDIS Participants

Bridging Psychology can provide services to anyone on the NDIS at any age, including Early Intervention (aged 2-6). To be eligible, your plan needs to have funding under
Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living. The line items that we bill under are: 
Early Intervention: 15_001_0118_1_3 
Ages 7-65: 15_054_0128_1_3

Medicare/MHCP

Bridging Psychology offers services under the Better Access Initiative with Medicare. If you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) and a referral from your GP, you may be eligible for a rebate.

You can receive rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. The current Medicare rebate for a session with a General Psychologist is $96.65, leaving a gap fee of $133.35 per session.

Private Clients

Anyone is eligible to book in a session at Bridging Psychology. You don’t need to be on the NDIS or have a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP). If you would like to book in as a private client, you will be charged the same rate as a Medicare client, without the Medicare rebate.

Private Health Care Funds

Please check with your private health insurer to confirm eligibility for psychology-related claims. While Bridging Psychology cannot process private health claims directly, we can provide you with an invoice to submit to your insurer for reimbursement.
