Treatments

No matter your story or your history, we’re here to help build the bridge to a better you.

We understand that each client’s background, goals and funding pathway are different. Before any therapy or assessment begins, our psychologists listen carefully, review the available information and agree clear objectives. From cognitive and neurodevelopmental assessments to therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma and grief, every session is shaped to suit the individual.

With clinics in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth and secure tele-psychology across Australia, we keep wait times short and communication straightforward. The result is accessible, person-centred care that helps children, adolescents and adults move towards improved wellbeing, whatever their starting point.

Client-Centred Therapy

Client-Centred Therapy, also known as Person-Centred Therapy, is a humanistic approach that emphasises empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness in the therapeutic relationship. It encourages clients to explore their own feelings and experiences in a non-judgmental environment.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a goal-oriented psychotherapy that focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviours. It helps individuals develop coping skills and strategies to manage their emotions and improve their quality of life.

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)

CPT is a type of cognitive behavioural therapy specifically designed to treat symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). It helps individuals challenge and reframe negative beliefs about themselves and the world following trauma exposure.

Mindfulness and Positive Psychology interventions focus on cultivating present-moment awareness, promoting self-compassion, and enhancing overall well-being. They emphasise the importance of gratitude, resilience, and cultivating a positive mindset.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing is a collaborative, goal-oriented approach that helps individuals explore and resolve ambivalence about behaviour change. It aims to strengthen intrinsic motivation and promote commitment to positive change.

Solution-focused Therapy (SFT)

SFT is a brief, goal-oriented approach that focuses on identifying and building upon an individual’s strengths and resources to achieve specific, achievable goals. It emphasises solutions rather than dwelling on problems.
